The E-Team is designed to support and empower to young emerging athletes with a disability (from the United States) training competitively in Summer and Winter Paralympic Sports.

One-time $500 Training/Competition Grant
One-time $100 Apparel Grant OR E-Team Jacket
Recognition in Challenge Magazine
E-Team Newsletter
Priority consideration for additional scholarship, training, and competition opportunities
Criteria:
13-24 years old
Medically classifiable to compete in Paralympic Sports (previous classification is not required)
Actively participating in a training program
Competitively active in Paralympic Sports in the 2015-2016 season
Enrolled in school (e.g. college, high school, home schooled)
Able to provide a current coach’s reference

Note:

  • U.S. Team members are excluded from applying
  • Athletes are limited to E-Team membership for one winter and one summer sport.
  • If you have been previously named to the E-Team, you are considered a member until you no longer meet the criteria and do not need to apply again, unless you are applying for a different season.
