This clinic is geared to the beginner to an intermediate rising elite athlete.  We have some of the top Paralympic Coaches the USA has to offer and instruction is provided in a classroom setting as well as hands-on in the field and on the track.

We focus on sessions for these event groups:
Ambulatory running (Visual Impairment, Amputee, Cerebral Palsy, Limb Salvage and others), Wheelchair Racing, Ambulatory Throws and Jumps, Seated Throws.

Equipment:
If Wheelchair Racing equipment is needed, we do have extra chairs for an athlete to try.  If a chair is fitted for you and you are a part of a Texas community program or Junior High or High School program, then the chair can be loaned to the community program for your use or to the athlete for use in Junior High or High School programs.  No chairs are loaned or sent out of state.

Some session topics
Running, Pushing, Throwing, Jumping Technique; strength training; developing training plans; navigating the Paralympic Pipeline; Racing Chair maintenance; 1 on 1 roller sessions for intermediate athletes; hands-on session out at the track.
More detail on sessions and instructors to come in early January .

Instructors:
We strive to get some of the top Paralympic Athletes and US Paralympic National Team Coaches as our instructors.  We will announce the instructors in January.

Hotel suggestions: There are lots of hotels in San Marcos, from all price ranges.  We do not have a hotel block of rooms.  These are just two of the nicer ones in town, please do a search and look to see what is in your price range.
