 Congratulations to all of the competitors at the UIL State Track & Field 2016 Championships Jordan Lee (Arlington Lamar) and Tyler Buysee (Gunter) swept the wheelchair division winning the 100, 400 and shot put. Jordan went 21.28 in the 100, 1:19.49 in the 400 and threw the 4k shot 5.32m In the girls division, after Jordan, Maria Galindo (Houston Aldine) took 2nd in both sprints and Tea Goodhall (Blanco) took third in both. In the boys division, after Buysee, Joe Solis (Weslaco) took second in both sprints. Jace Forward (Briscoe Ft. Elliott) was 3rd in the 100 and Tucker Hamdorf (Boerne) was third in the 400m. Girl's shot- Shelbi Walser (Wills Point) was second and Sarah Maynard (Peaster) was third. Boy's shot- Christopher Alvidez (Dumas) was second with Joseph Doak (Sheldon King) was third.
