2021 Lone Star Para Invitational

This will be a level 2 sanctioned event with Move United and a Junior Nationals qualifier.
Cost: $25
Schedule
7:30-8:30AM Check-in & warmups
9:00AM Track events. Order of events will be 20m, 1500m, 100m, 400m, 60m 800m, 200m
12:30PM Field events Discus, Shot, Javelin and long jump
Lunch will be on your own
We are asking that athletes, spectators, volunteers and staff to wear masks at the event except when they are competing. Full COVID Guideline will be published prior to the event.

Long Jump has been cancel due to flooding in the pits
Field events will be a last-minute decision. The field area is very soggy, and the seated pits currently have standing water. We hope that we can get the throws in, but we will be at the mercy of the weather tomorrow and the parking lot drains to the field area.
Awards
We feel that awards need to be earned. We also respect that you are here to compete, and it is not your fault there is no one for you to compete against.
Here is our policy on awards.
Awards will be given by event, classification, sex and age. If you are the only one in your classification and age groups you will only receive 1 award for the meet. Events that have multiple competitors will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards. For example, we have 7 T54 U14 girls and we will award 1st 2nd and 3rd places. We have 1 T-- U14. They will not have any direct competition so they will receive 1 award for the meet.
