We were cold, wet, miserable in a different state with people who were practically still strangers to us but by the end of the meet, the sun was shining, everyone laughing and cheering each other on and the people from that morning were now teammates who have become family.
Sponsorship and funding is crucial to cover the expenses of organizing a track and field meet. Sponsors can provide financial support, equipment, and services in exchange for advertising and promotional opportunities. Developing strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and sports brands can lead to valuable partnerships that enhance the event's success.
As you can imagine it takes many people to put on a track & field meet. From check-in to staging tents, to handing out water to keeping the track cleared for the running of events. Setting up tents, moving equipment to the correct field throwing area. Clean up and loading up trucks and trails there is much to do.
How would you like to come and spend the morning or afternoon helping us stage a memorable event for the athletes and families? We have a two half day options and a full day option for volunteers.
